'Living a Nightmare': Families of Missing Teens Desperately Seek Answers After Alpine Inferno
The families of teens unaccounted for after a devastating blaze at a venue in a Swiss alpine town are facing an agonising wait for confirmed information and appealing for any details about their children online.
The inferno engulfed the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of New Year's Day. Verified video reveal the ceiling catching alight as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.
Officials have stated that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the victims of the disaster, which resulted in the death of 40 people and injured another scores more. Officials stated on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been accounted for, with work still underway to identify the remaining few.
In the meantime, loved ones have been using online platforms to appeal for clues about their missing relatives who were at the bar that night.
Appeals for the Unaccounted For
The fate of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, 16, are still unconfirmed, according to an appeal from his family.

Her brother has posted an urgent request online, saying the relatives has had "no information" regarding the 15-year-old or the three friends she was with, who are also unaccounted for.
Consular authorities from her other nation say they are continuing to monitor the situation.
